James Lloyd-Townshend, managing director at the company, commented: "Businesses will initially look to bring in senior interim professionals to manage these projects and we would then expect them to gradually increase their permanent headcount as and when the market starts to pick up."
The organisation went on to say that among the IT skills currently sought by organisations is SharePoint experience, which can make a difference to the way businesses communicate information and has a dual knock-on effect on engagement and productivity.
Earlier this week, hosting solutions provider Logicworks stated that cloud computing can deliver levels of uptime and support that are unattainable with consumer-oriented IT solutions.
